We provide interim leadership for laboratories undergoing transition. We also provide training and coaching for new or existing laboratory leaders and leadership teams.  

We provide custom-tailored quality management services ranging from assisting newly formed laboratories, contract quality management during times of transition or on a longer term basis, and developing the skills of new quality managers or quality assurance specialists.

We can assist your laboratory prepare for accreditation by evaluating existing policies and procedures, conducting audits, and identifying any non-conformities.  We can also assist laboratories respond to and correct any nonconformities found during an audit or assessment.  

We provide case file review ranging from quality assurance reviews, independent reviews of a laboratory's work product, and outsourced technical and administrative reviews to relieve the burden on limited staffing.  Outsourced technical and administrative reviews provide the added advantage of increased objectivity and impartiality.

We provide analysis of firearm and toolmark evidence for both civil and criminal matters.  

We provide shooting incident reconstruction services in both civil and criminal matters.  Our extensive experience and ability to objectively evaluate the facts set us apart from other providers.  

We provide custom-tailored training in areas ranging from laboratory leadership and management, quality management, firearm and toolmark examination, shooting incident reconstruction, and expert testimony.  We have extensive experience and our principal consultant holds certifications in adult teaching/learning concepts.  We adjust our approach to meet the needs of our students, with the goal of developing them into competent practitioners. We also assist laboratories with the development of training programs to be administered in-house.  

We assist both expert witnesses and attorneys with trial preparation.  Our principal consultant has testified as an expert witness over 200 times in state and federal courts.  

We assist with admissibility hearings (e.g. Daubert hearings) in the firearm and toolmark discipline.  Our principal consultant has the background and expertise, coupled with extensive courtroom experience, to clearly articulate the foundational principals underpinning firearm and toolmark examination.  

We provide expert testimony on the work we perform, as well as in admissibility hearings as described above.  We also provide training on expert witness testimony to new and experienced practitioners.
